I grew up in a family that loves music. When I was little, my grandpa made up tunes to make me laugh, and my grandma wrote me a lullaby. I learned at an early age the power of music, and how fun, freeing, and beautiful it can be. As a shy kid, I was able to express myself more authentically in music, than through most conversations. I wrote my first song about the pains of homework in first grade with my mom, called, "The Homework Blues." I continued to write songs throughout middle school, high school, college, and beyond, about unrequited love, feeling lost, dragonflies, etc... . Writing is my therapy.
I love different forms of music from Johnny Cash, to the Cranberries, from Bob Dylan, to Radiohead; from Bright Eyes, to Dolly Parton, Ray Charles, and Alanis Morissette, etc. My mission is to connect with others through my music and art!
Genuinely,
Jesse
